An Apology:

On behalf of ~zeaphyra and myself, I would like to apologize to our contest entrants as I am canceling the 'Duality' contests winner position. *lmtcloud won by default as there were no comments or votes on the other piece. I am sure you will both understand.

A New System:

Last week you all should have received a note entitled 'Changes' detailing the alterations ~zeaphyra & I have made to the group, these include a new system for themes & contests, and a submitting system developed by ~zeaphyra who is now our submissions manager. Here is a copy of the note:

<sup>The main change is that we have decided to switch the time frame of themes and contest around. Themes will be weekly and contests monthly with three weeks for writing and one for judging. This will take effect from the 1st of December when we will announce a new contest and theme.

Our main reason for this change is that we've been noted a few times that our members don't always have enough time to participate in the contests. By lengthening the time frame we hope to give you more time to concentrate on the contests and therefore gain more participation.

I hope you'll all be happy with these changes as all we want is to improve all of our experiences at ~soul-perfume. A theme will be announced tomorrow (30th November) and will run for a week. The theme will be a relatively informal task as we can't expect anyone to submit polished pieces of work. Think of our themes as writing exercises designed to get your 'creative juices flowing'.
