I was walking over my life today... but then... i stumbled.
I then saw a rock. A happy rock.
It was indeed happy, for it was he who made me stumble.
it giggled and snickered til its small self could not handle the pressure and it shot up into a mountain still thundering with laughter.
I smiled.

I was walking through my life today... walking with the mountain by my side...giggling.
Through rough terrain we tread, I climb its back whenever I'm in dread.
Bringing along the dust that has passed on our way
The mountain and I grew to love each others company and decided to walk together in our life's journey.

I was walking through life today...looking onward by the thundering mountain's side...holding tightly as not to drop.
Day was breaking and the sun caught my eye...
the mountain had stopped and stood as still as a tree.
I feared the worst for my company
I looked at it and he smiled.
It looked assured... it looked satisfied...
It shrank slowly back to its original form
I looked in wonder... but i felt torn

I was walking through life today... with my sleeping rock in my pocket.
I talk to it and it whispers... I pat my pocket to pretend it giggles.
I look back the road that my mountain saw last
I tell myself to worry not for its all in the past.

I stopped walking through my life today...
weariness befell me and sucked me dry
the juice that once kept me up... have left me with little trace
I get my rock from my pocket and held it tight
slowly it grew...
it grew bigger than the mountain it was before
it grew and touched the stars...
I looked on with wonder and glee...
I climbed the mountain without anything expecting to see
I climbed on and on with the thought of greeting my company back...

I was looking at my life today... from high up in the stars
wondering where it was that forked the road...
then there it was...
the place i had stumbled...
